Injectable fillers are used to fill certain areas beneath the skin. Commonly used dermal fillers include Juvaderm and Restalyne products. Cosmetic fillers restore volume and fullness by diminishing acne scars, smile lines around the mouth and nose, plump lips and enhance shallow lines. Fillers are made from hyaluronic acid (HA) a natural substance in the skin which helps the skin maintain moisture and softness.
